PVC Street Gang Cutlass PVC Street Gang is from Denton Texas and from the photos on their MySpace page, they've been friends for a long time. Gorilla Vs. Bear really likes these guys and I have to agree with them. Lately, I've been enjoying the lo-fi, DIY recordings and PVC Street Gang have got it down. Solid Gold Who You Gonna Run To? SHANNON'S PICK We recommended Solid Gold before HERE. Get Over It is still my favorite of theirs, but this song is also good. BUY Amazon

Sebastien Schuller (Evenfall) Midnight SHANNON'S PICK The song starts off slow, but it's got a pretty nice payoff. Makes me think of how how many days of rain we've had this spring. Amazon

Starlight Mints (Change Remains) Zoomba SHANNON'S PICK It's nice to here bands using brass instruments outside of ska and swing and their use of the flute is pretty awesome too. Starlight mints are dangling on the edge of sanity. Where do they come up with this stuff, really? They must be friends with The Flaming Lips or at least have the same condition. BUY Amazon
