Tighten Up by The Black Keys What else can we say about The Black Keys. They've had one hell of a year already with several side projects like Dan Auerbach's solo album, Blakroc and Drummer all being release in a single year. The Black Keys latest album will release in May. Tighten Up was produced by Danger Mouse and has managed to make The Black Keys sound even better. I didn't think it was possible either. Loxtep by Annuals Nice playful song from Annuals. I enjoy the mixture of sounds throughout. The North Carolina bands says they are back to form with Sweet Sister, the third album from the band. They received a lot of praise for their 2006 debut album, but lost some of that praise on their 2008 release, Such Fun. Let's hope the rest of the album is as good as Loxtep. MP3 Loxtep FREE \| HERE
Battle Scars by Red Ink Red Ink reminds me of early Cure and a bunch of other 80's bands that were thrown into a melting pot of awesomeness. They're currently an unsigned band from Melbourne Australia that have gained a lot of attention down under. I'm sure they'll attract the same amount of attention over here in no time. Part of the charm of James Lavelle's UNKLE is that the group collaborates with so many other amazing artists including DJ Shadow, Thom Yorke, Josh Homme, and on the featured track, Black Angels.
